Momma & Macy Pedicures!

Grady set up an appointment for Macy and I to go have pedicures together. We went downtown to the Sage Spa. A wife of one of his employees did them for us. It was a neat time. I loved watching all of the excitment in Macy's eyes. All she kept saying was what color she was going to pick for her next one....What did we start here? (She kept saying that she'd love to live in Alaska because Deana liked pedicures, perfume, purses, etc. I just told her that, yes, Deana was more of a girly girl than her own momma is) Here's pictures of our feet:

I picked a gold color, and she gave me a funny look, so I picked a dark brown and then she put some sparkle stuff on top. Macy picked a hot pink and the sparkly stuff. She then proceeded to say that she wanted some flowers painted on them too. The gal said that she had some jewels, and Macy went crazy. She drooled over three different containers before settling on some hot pink hearts.

Walking out of the place she was so funny. She didn't want to ruin the paint, so she walked like a flamingo. She fell asleep on the way home and then jumped out of bed this morning exclaiming that all of the jewels were still on! She is wearing flip flops today just to show them off. That is fine, but we are only going to get up to 47 degrees today and then we have a 100% chance of rain and snow with 1" of accumulation, tonight alone. Yes, my friends, winter is here! This entire weekend will be COLD, like in the 30s. I chewed off a fingernail and started up the heater this morning because all three kids were up and kept saying that they were freezing.

I took some pictures of fall to make a post about, but may be holding off until AFTER the winter pictures and post come in.....we'll see how things go.
