Here it goes...

The craft fair was a HUGE success! I sold more than I had thought, and even sold more afterwards thanks to these pictures that I posted on facebook. I had four orders for more of some things that I had made, and those are finally complete. It was a lot of work, but so worth it. I think that I may just go this route next year.

Friday I was able to spend the day with all of the kindergarteners in town for their bee finale! It was a great time and I was so sore afterwards. Grady's mom is here and she has been a huge help with the kids. I think that I could handle a nanny on call! I wore my Danskos and hadn't in a while, so my feet hurt, and so did my legs and bum.

Last Saturday I had the craft day at church. It was fun, but I left early because I had to do some storage work. We had the TCT company holiday party that night. Great times!

Sunday I cut out those orders from the fair, and then took Myles to the ER. He had gotten a steak knife off of the counter and sliced into a banana, but also go his finger. He has three stitches and we are having a heck of a time keeping a bandaid on his poor little finger now. He's a tough one! Grady hung Christmas lights on the house.

Today I finished up invoicing and can now get back to the Christmas gifts that I am making. I'll try to post some pictures of them when I get finished....well, some. I don't want to spoil the gift giving for those of you who follow me on here!

Well, there's a quick update. This house needs some attention before I can continue on the crafting! Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Ahhh, Crafting!

Tis the season to be prepping for Holiday gifting. I have been invited to do a craft fair this weekend. I turned it down, but with the wonderfully warm weather that we have had, I decided to drag out the saw and the sander and work. I have been working like a crazy woman for the past week cutting, sanding, painting, glueing, etc. for this weekend. Lots of fun things have come out for it, and I may just take advantage of my single parenting to do some more.

Super Saturday is the Saturday afterwards, and I have fabric arriving daily for Christmas gifts. This month will be one full of crafts and a mess in my house, so beware!

SO, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO THIS
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15,
SINCE THE WEATHER IS NOT LOOKING SO HOT FOR IT........COME TO WORLAND AND HIT UP THE METHODIST CHRUCH RER BUILDING! I'll be there from
9 to 1
with others too!

Halloween 2009!

Finally I have taken the time to upload the pictures! We started our night with this "spooky" dinner. Mummy faces (aka, pizzas) and Bloody fingers (aka, hotdogs). They were fun, and I was sure the kids would eat them up, but the pizzas seemed to take a side to the excitment for candy! And, our Wizard of Oz crew. Glinda the Good Witch, aka Macy. Scarecrow, aka Myles. Dorothy (again), aka Fiona. TinMan, aka Stuart!
It was sure a fun night for us!
