My friend, Sandy, posted some fun things that she has "learned" in the past couple of weeks, and asked if anyone else had anything to add. I decided to make it a post of my own since I have LEARNED tons this past week while on vacation.
Did you know...
*Four children can run on excitement for over 8 hours without a nap? (Must be that same good stuff that we adults run on when we're excited)
*A zoo is MORE fun when it has been raining for 24 hours straight and there are tons of puddles to jump in?
*Little girls get far with a cute smile and some charm?
*It is possible to get the kids to sleep when the sun does not set at bedtime?
*Rain can't stop six adults and five children from visiting the Anchorage Market?
*Grown men can learn the song "I Have a Little Turtle" overnight and sing it for an entire week?
*It IS possible to run an entire week while only averaging 5-6 hours of sleep a night?
*You can fall in love with something overnight?
*A child would like to name a cow "Tractor" or "Sexy Cow"?
*A massage is the BEST thing in the world for a mother?

i love being able to read about your adventures up north!! Meg was excited to get together with all of you....hope you have been able to do that....when is the train ride??? i want to hear about that!!! sooooo happy you are having such a good time...you are supposed to tell sue to call home!! I am enjoying your guys so much and can't believe our time together is winding down. I hope you get back here soon. Moving here would just complete all my dreams for sure so make sure you at least keep it in the back of your mind! If you don't move here I guess I'll just have to come visit you in MT next year!
