Here's a few pictures from Grady's fishing trip to Soldotna on the Kenai River. They were set up to head out for halibut, but the weather made for some rough water and it was cancelled. He caught some Red Salmon, and then one GIANT King Salmon. It was 60 pounds! He's still in the lead for the largest one from the guys that they were with. We'll be set for some brain food for a while!
In the wagon....we can fit all four of our children in this wagon at home....
Some reds, it's a bit blurry, but you get the picture....
and the scenery from the area....
Grady said this was the neatest color water ever....
I've taken some more, but they are on the new camera and I haven't unloaded it yet. We have been seeing lots of rain, but the sun is shining right now and we are crossing our fingers that it stays. We wish that we could bring the moisture home with us, but are really ready to enjoy the sun. It's light until midnight and then only dark for a few hours. This kids are adjusting well, and I am loving the light! I've bought some neat Alaska things for a scrapbook and am enjoying the time here!
Until I update again, have a great time where ever you are!
