Stuart's 3rd Birthday Party

Aahhh, yes, the Kid Paradise...Chuck E Cheese. Stuart was lucky enough to be the first of our children to have the birthday party here. I can explain with one word: BLAST! We had everyone from Grandpa and Daddy, to the Fiona and the Elders playing games and rides before the day ended. Grady went up into the sky climber with the kids and had several others pointing and laughing. Here is a picture of them one area. Between the glare and the finger prints, you can't see Grady very clearly, but trust me, he is there. Here's another of Grady and Stuart playing a game. They were together, like the bestest buddies today. I loved how Grady's hand was over the top of Stu's for assistance. I took a close up, but for time's sake, did not load it here. And on to the cake. I had great intentions on getting a helicopter one made for Stuart, but between the lovely weather and Grady's work schedule, I did not make it to the store to purchase any. Needless to say, Costco saved the day. I went out Friday evening and purchased a birthday cake and went to Toys R Us for the gift. Nothing like last minute shopping.....so not like me. It's a wonder I kept pretty calm this week.
This was my attempt at capturing Stuart falling asleep while eating his cake. Everyone had been laughing at him and caught his attention before I got the camera turned on. The poor boy. He and Macy had a slumber party on his bedroom floor last night so that Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Kaden could stay here. The two of them were wide awake before five this morning, and could have used a nap prior to partying. We did manage to get the gifts opened and all of our tokens used before coming home.
And, finally, the biggest party animal of all, Miss Fiona. She just could not handle all of the overstimulation and Popi's arms were so comfy, she was out. Three large pizzas, eight drinks, over 150 tokens, and two hours of playtime: $85; the laughs, memories, and photographs: priceless!Thank you to everyone that came to help celebrate. We enjoyed having you all here and would love to have you here again anytime. Thanks for braving the terrible roads, the freezing wind, and our crazy Montana drivers. We love you all and hope to see you again soon.
