Well, I received a call from my dear husband and he will be staying overnight in the town he is working in. He had a heck of a drive there this morning, and since we didn't receive any warmth today, the roads will be the same tonight. To save the stress of driving on them (and for his own safety), we decided to be apart for the night. The kids and I have ordered pizza for dinner (I'm tired of cooking for just us, as mean as that sounds, I know). We will just have to try to make the evening go by fast. This week has drug on long enough and I really can't wait for tomorrow to be over. I do not like the single parent stuff, my praise goes out to all that do it. Have a great night, and, YES, I will tip the pizza delivery man well for his risky trip.

We are in the EXACT same boat -- super cold, snow showed up totally randomly this morning (they even closed the school after lunch) and Jake is stranded out of town...and we had pizza for dinner:) Hopefully all of our drama will be over tomorrow, right?
we didn,t check into our room until 2:30 in the morning.

Just checked the weather this morning. -40 with the wind chill. No wonder the dogs didn't waste anytime outside. When is spring????
