It's Been A While....

Here's another post mostly about Stuart. Grandma Rose made it in on Monday, and we had another birthday party for Stuart on Tuesday. I am happy that we were able to have some excitment around here that day. It is the same day that we had to replace Jumbo (the fish). We purchased a new one without him noticing (Macy did). Unfortunately, we lost both Jumbo II and Lulu that night. Must have been something in the water. I really did not have a desire to run out and buy a few more, so I just cleaned out the tank, and thought I would let it sit for a little while to see if he noticed. To date, he still has not. Macy has, and we told her what happened but she soon was sidetracked and has not said anything to Stu. I don't know how to tell him, so hopefully he will not realize.

We have been busy doing odds and ends. I was able to attend an Enrichment meeting about organizing everyday papers and getting rid of clutter. What a nice learing experience that was. I have alot to work on now.

Tonight we went to Red Lobster for dinner. It is grandma's favorite place to eat, so we treated her to an early birthday dinner. Her special day is next week, but she will be home by then. Yummy, yummy.

Other than that, not much else. Kids didn't sleep well last night, so I am ready to turn in tonight. I'm up for an early morning flight tomorrow, so I'll let you know how it turns out. I just pray it is warmer as the heater doesn't work that well. Good night

I'm totally laughing about Stu's fish...that he hasn't noticed the empty bowl...he must not have been that attached, eh?:)

I would LOVE to hear any of your anti-clutter tips from Enrichment:)

The most highly recommended thing was to have another person (not your husband) go through it with you. They also recommended only keeping Conference edition magazines from years ago, and color coding filing. We made a three ring binder for the telephone area to keep important things handy and organized, and we made a file for the 72 hour kit containing copies of important papers. We are having a swap mart for people to come to the Church and yard sale (without money, of course). Anything left over will be loaded onto a DFS truck for donations. People out here don't have time to do yard sales, but this is done in February, so it's a great way to clean out some stuff. I can't remember much else right now, but will post again if I do.
