Meet my version of ThimbleBlossom's Shortcake....well....the top of it anyway!
Last night Grady stayed in Wyoming for work again, so I set up a Momma Sweatshop! Here's what my dining room looks like right now as I am typing:

I started cutting the pieces after dinner last night and the kids played with the scraps in a fort under the table. They built fires and went out hunting and fishing! It was fun! I finished applying the flowers this morning and am now ready to vacuum the living room floor to get the back and batting put together!
Got a sand mess to go clean up right now. Have a sunshiny day!

I started my own project! PAINTING! I hate it but it will be worth it when it is all done and then the whole house will be done. Vern thinks it needs done before kiddos and that was all the incentive I needed!! Everything is off the walls and i am going to tape everything off tonight!
that quilt is sooo cute...is it for sale or for someone as a gift?? WHERE DID GRADY STAY??? why didn't he stay with us?? too many dogs???????????
Oh my . . . the quilt is stunning! I love it!! I don't know how you get stuff like that done! Well, I certainly hope the sand mess wasn't my fault?!!
