Well, Mr. Groundhog found his shadow while searching for his Valentine, so it looks as though we will still be in the winter weather for awhile longer....EXCEPT here! We are going to be back towards the 60 degree mark this week! I know that we'll get the spring fever hot and heavy and then we will be blanketed with the white stuff again.
I have spent the past week fabric shopping online for a few projects that I want to do. Now it is all arriving, and I am slowly making some progress. Here's the first 1/2 of one completed. I started out with these super soft pillows that we received as a gift our first year of marriage from my parents. These poor pillows have been through lots, and the washer too many times to count. They have started getting holes in the sides which I just tied shut with the fringe to keep the kids from pulling out the stuffing.
I ordered a few Moda Charm packs from uptownjane along with some great scraps (for my table runner) and here is what I have completed so far:
I love the country/vintage feel and want to decorate with it....to enjoy while we are finishing up the painting to list this place. But, I am very hopeful that I will be able to enjoy everything at the new place too. So, there you have my current obsession. I'll share more as I get them completed.
We had a very quick trip to Worland Saturday night and Sunday. My "Bestest" Father-in-Law was called to the Bishopric. It was such an emotional and wonderful Sacrament meeting. I wish that everyone could have been there to listen!
Until next time, try to stay healthy. I think that we are getting another round of the sniffles here and I know that our Wyoming friends are still struggling through some from a long while ago.

I love the pillow! Good job!
I want to get a sewing machine. I want to learn to sew. Vern thinks I need to get the scrapbook projects done first. As he hasn't seen the one end of the kitchen table in probably......4 months! OOPS!!!
Keep us posted on the rest of the projects.
Happy Groundhog's Day! It is 10 above and snowing here so I would have to say Mr. Groundhog is right!
Super cute pillow!! I've been wanting to get some moda stuff, but its hard to find pictures of all the fabrics included in their packs...but the charm pack turned out great for that pillow!

It was actually two charm packs that she sold together! I was able to do the front and back of both pillows with those packs!
