Tears filled my eyes last night as we attended our first (of many) school concerts. Macy and I spent some time in the bathroom getting her all "prettied" up for the event. They were to wear a dress with nice shoes, and she came home saying that they could wear a small amount of make up. So, of course, she just HAD to have make up on.....but I applied it for her. We gave her a shower and dried her hair before hitting it with the curling iron. She changed her earrings and borrowed a necklace from me for the even......fastforward 12 years and we'll be doing this all over again for the prom....YIKES. Here's a few of the pictures that we captured....they are not very good, we were in the very back and I had to hold Myles while taking them because he kept running away...and we all know that kids is a active as his biggest sister!
And Stuart....he got very excited for kindergarten after this program. He was a bit wild, but I am just chucking that up to Macy having some special attention from everyone. The poor kid is fighting a rash on his face and is quite embarrased about it. The other day he told me that he hoped it went away soon because it was hideous. I think that it is getting better. These little spots start off as a pimple looking deal and then fester up full of puss before quickly going to a scabby spot. He keeps saying that it is the chicken pox, but they are not anywhere else. He had them on his legs a few weeks back, and I am wondering if it goes along with a cold he is fighting or if it could be some type of dry skin thingy. If they do not get better soon, we will go into the doctor....he's just not wanting to miss his last week of school for it. We head to a program for him tomorrow and hopefully I can remember to bring along the camera.
Not much else happening here....it's just flat cold outside and I am ready for some warmth...even if that means more snow.
