I woke up this morning to an Etsy Conversation that stated this gal had featured my Mr. Turkey on her blog. Go check it out here.
Yesterday was a GREAT day for us at SundaeShop. I sold a turkey the night before, and my candles yesterday. Jasey sold her moose puzzle and Hohoho blocks. We are having a blast with this shop and are working our tails off on some new things to come!
Between the Election day flood and yesterday, I am thinking pretty hard about doing this:
She has been the ring leader with Myles as her Right Hand Man, and I have had tons to clean up to do around here as the newly elected Sheriff! Yesterday I had to vacuum up a brown grainy substance that had the strong aroma of coffee. I found evidence that included an empty decaf containter, cups, and tea containers amoung it. As the Crime Lab (aka ME in this small community) was cleaning up that scene, it also had to extend the full length of the vacuum hose down one heater vent in search of what is believed to be missing evidence in another crime. I have reason to believe that the Right Hand Man placed a bright green golf ball in there after it had been used in the many beatings of our town doctor (aka Stuart) who has fallen ill. All of this was topped off with our Mayor coming in later than usual (but earlier than expected), so I also filled in as Nurse and Chef. For the sick doctor, I cleaned out several strawberries (as they are the only things he is wanting right now), and placed them on the counter for him. Miss Ring Leader came along with a chair and ate them up right before opening the refrigerator door and climing up in to scoop out some chocolates, but not before she knocked out an egg. When Sheriff arrived on the scene, there was a dog cleaning up the freshly broken egg, shell and all. Ring Leader and Right Hand Man had mouths full of chocolate, and Ring Leader somehow lost her pants in the act. I quickly arrested her, bare bottom and all! Now I just need a jail, as mine is still under reconstruction from a recent flood. Anyone?

Oh my gosh, this post had me totally laughing out loud! Especially the picture...and the fact that she did all that in the kitchen without pants:) I'm glad you're keeping a good sense of humor about it...only how many more years until she goes to kindergarten?:)
