Grady sent me the link to this video from YouTube. I had to post about it because I balled while watching it....especially at the end. He has it on his blog, here's the link:
Why am I so darn emotional over this war? I cried yesterday reading a blog about a gal that was counting the hours until her husband's plane landed. He is serving in Iraq and is coming home on leave. I guess I am just struggling with how so many people could really care less about these soldiers.
Just go watch it.

Hi Girl, sure wish I knew how to get the desk out to Macy. It's the desk in You and Grady's room our here.
Boy Ashli I hear you, this war is very emotional to so many of us, freedom has always been so hard fought. I'm always proud to know that my father Afton, my brother Douglas, and my son Grady have served their country. What a bunch of brave guys I've had around me in my life... That always puts a smile on my face.
Have a good weekend with your family! Love ya
Glad to hear school and all is going well, and I love the desk ideas. I saw one I wanted to buy for $300 for Natalie's room in an antique mallin Washington this summer, but we had no way to get it home! They may be online because it's huge. Try to search for the Thorp Antique Store in Ellensburg, WA. I do love your soldier's video. We're so glad Kyle's cousins are home from serving, but there are still many, many more we need to remember. Have a good week.
Hi there! Did you find a desk? We're heading out to Talkeetna, AK this AM. I sure wish you were here to go too! I wanted you to experience Talkeetna!! Hugs to all!!
