We headed to camp towards Cooke City. We went down through Wyoming via the Chief Joseph Sceneic Byway since it was an easier pull for the car. We ended up in the Soda Butte Campground. It was a great time for us...probably the best camping trip we've had so far. Our neighbors were going there, so we joined them. Their granddaughter loves to play with our kids, and they all had a blast.

Bear boxes. Rumor has it that a bear took out an unoccupied tent the night before we set up came just a few spaces down. We never knew if it was for sure or not, but it was enough to make us be a bit more careful.
