We spent most of today running about town exploring. We tried out a tiny cafe on the east side of town, yummy, real mexican food. We hurried back across town to get Macy to school on time and then on to some shopping. I spent some time shopping for things to decorate my kitchen with and then had to leave the store to clean up a Myles stinky bum. Grandma, Stuart and Fiona came out a while later. It was very windy outside, so I climbed into the back of the suburban with him and pulled the back down to block the wind. I accidentally pulled it a little too much and it latched. We were stuck in the back! I wasn't worried since I knew that they rest of the family would be out soon and I could always climb over the seat to get out if needed. We had a half hour to burn before picking Macy back up and so I took the opportunity to feed the little guy. I was knocking on the window as they were walking up to the back of the car and Stuart was asking about his momma. Grandma opened the back and I said, "She's right here!" Grandma jumped and her heart was pounding! Apparently she had not heard me knocking on the window and I scared her. We rushed back up to pick up Macy and then we came home. The kids were the best ever today! I think that we are going to head north for a while tomorrow for another adventure tomorrow. We are having some fun and seeing places that I would not venture to alone with four kids hanging on me. I'll try to share some pictures on the next post. Have a great night.

I can just see you in the back of the Suburban. What a funny story. I'm so glad the kids were good during your outing. What are you decorating your kitchen in? Is Myles taking to the bottle more frequently? Grady visited my blog and had some fun answers for my post. It cracked me up!
Sounds like you guys are having fun! Sorry you had to be trapped in the back with the stinky diaper...but that is a funny story! How funny would that be to be in the parking lot and see a full-grown woman climbing over all the seats in her suburban:) Post some pics of your adventures!!
Deana--
The kitchen decor theme is heading towards farmhouse antiques...I hope. My mind for the budget and what things are costing are two different things. Imagine that. I want cheap, so I may need to hit up some yard sale/junk sales instead of the antique shops. Myles will take a bottle from his daddy, but not grandma...so we'll have to see what happens on our early Valentine's date this weekend. Grady's answers cracked me up too....he's a funny guy!
girls, let me tell you... I about had a heart attack when I opened up the back to put the packages in... can you imagine the shock to find someone in there ! I about wet my pants!!! It was pretty funny after my ol' heart settled down.. What a great trip I had with my kids and grandkids. God I love them all so much, it's really hard to be so far away. gramma Rose
