Yesterday was a very tough day at church. With the kids being sort of on the sick side, I took Fiona with me to Primary after listening to her SCREAM at the top of her lungs (which is very, very loud when you're in church). When we arrived in Primary (late, since the Library was backed up for photocopies), Grady was in sitting with Macy and holding Myles. He said that the other gal I teach with was sick and went home. Pretty soon, they brought in Stuart. WOW, the entire family in Primary....whoda thunk? Grady and Myles quickly took Stu back to Nursery and then returned. Again, Stuart was brought into Primary. I looked back and they told me he was okay. He was being the "helper" for Nursery since he is so old and getting very bored with the place. He took snacks back for all of the kids. I used that as a bribe to get Fiona to return to class. And, just like that, we were back to semi normal. Later, I was told that while Stuart was helping set up for snacks, the following conversation took place:
STU: "Do you know my baby Fiona?"
G: "Yes, she is very cute isn't she?"
STU: "Well, there's a new kid in town!"
G: "Oh, ya? Is that baby Myles?"
STU: "YEP"
End of conversation. I am going to have to write a book of StuStories or something. I ended up teaching the entire class alone (for the first time). Myles spent the time with Daddy. It was very nice and I really enjoyed it...I've got a game plan now!
Anyway, we made a quick trip to Worland to visit family. We went down Friday and came home Saturday afternoon. It was great to see everyone and help out in the garden clean up process (I just supervised...holding the baby), and Grady enjoyed some time with his Daddy. Better go tend the the sweet screaming baby on my left, or I'm afraid that he'll melt away in the sweat he's building up. Have a good one.

Stuart's way of putting things is priceless! I like the idea of a book of his stories. They all make me laugh!
