Today I was given some very special reads that my sister-in-law had written. I read them, and re-read them, and thought alot about how much I have failed in expressing my appreciation to many people. I have to start with my husband though, since right now I KNOW that he deserves to be first....especially in light of my major mood swings that are about as constant as my tossing and turning in bed at night.
1. He will do anything for me, if I just ASK, and not assume he knows.
2. He has given me the best ten years of my life, I've grown so much with him.
3. He has given me three beautiful, children....and one more in a week!
4. He keeps his word to everyone, even forgetful children.
5. He is the one that helps me sit up to feed at night for the first week after having babies, EVERYTIME, and he emptied the bladder bag after Stuart's birth.
6. Somehow, he gives me patience just by being with the kids and I.
7. He will work all day and still come home to cook dinner if I am not in the mood for it.
8. He doesn't pressure me for anything, if I'm running late, he'll wait quietly. (I can't do this.)
9. He keeps his opinions to himself to save an argument. I know that this has to be hard.
10. He loves his family and loves to spend time with them.
These are just a few, I have children wanting stories read and I can't keep the tears from forming. I am truely a blessed woman to have met and married such a great man. I could not imagine where I would be right now without him. Grady.....I love you!

What a treasured posting. I'm getting caught up on the blog tonight since I haven't visited it in awhile. I got my birthday gift in the mail today. It's absolutely precious. . .I love it and it is hanging in my livingroom window! Thanks!
What a sweet list! (and smart to write it BEFORE you give birth, HAHA!) - I bet Grady will print this up and keep it somewhere safe:)
