Well, I've finally made it to the basement to post some pictures from our busy weekend. We headed down to Worland on Friday (8/10) for a few doctor appointments and then for the start of my 10 Year Class Reunion. It was fun to see everyone and catch up on a few things. We also were able to make it to Nowoodstock for a little while too.
Early Monday morning, we headed into the hospital for the delivery of Myles Thomas. Here is a picture of me hugging the kids before heading into surgery.
And Grady getting ready for it:
The kids had quite a bit of entertainment while we were gone. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Here's Fiona enjoying some of it:
Stuart's new airplane:
Macy making me a necklace (a bit too small, but I love it anyway!):
And the arrival of Myles Thomas Trombley! He was born at 8:34 a.m., weighing in at 7 lbs, 6 oz. (but fell to 6 lbs., 4 oz. before coming home), and was 20 1/4 inches long. I was in surgery for two hours for this one.
We did have some complications and I was pretty much down for the entire day Monday. Sorry anyone that was there. I hardly remember much. I had to have pressure on the incision for two hours before entering another two hour surgery to stop the bleeding. All is well now, and we are on the mend.
At home, the big brother showing off his new baby brother:
Macy just loves to hold him and would probably sit most of the day doing so if we let her:
If you couldn't tell from the pictures, Myles has way less hair than the other kids had when they arrived. I am convinced that he looks just like his daddy though. He is having a tough time adjusting to the day/night deal, so I'm a bit tired, but have help and will nap. He has picked up the eating rather well for not having anything his first day out. A tiny addition, he is swimming in all of his clothes, but we will have him plumped up soon I'm sure.

Such a beautiful baby -- more so in person, even! LOVE those pictures of the baby with Stu (classic "too cool for school" look on his face) and doting big sister Macy. You guys ALMOST have me convinced to start for #4...almost...:)

Ash,
I had to read about Myles in the newspaper. No one called me. ;) I know you are all busy and I tried to call, but I have the wrong number. Guess I got really far behind. Anyway, congratulations! Who could ask for more? Two boys and two girls. You are so lucky. Take care of those sweet babies! We're thinking of you.
