Monday was a day that we spent just doing some catch up on laundry and housework. Grady worked a very long day, so it was just the kids and I for about 13 hours. Later in the evening, Stuart wanted to have some goggles for swimming, so this is what I created with a piece of paper and some scissors. They are exploring a baby that they found under the water. "How did she get under here?" is what they kept saying.
Fiona has been really getting into her musical toys from Christmas. I had to get a picture of her dancing. She sits in front of this or her alphabet friend and just dances and dances. It's good to know that she will be having fun with big sister dancing soon.
Today we went to the dentist. It was Stuart's first time there for a visit, and he was not very cooperative. We never conviced him to take some x-rays and I had to brush his teeth for the cleaning. He cried the entire time the doctor looked in his mouth, but we managed to get a check-up and his teeth are stronger than big sister's, thank goodness! I just hope that he will be okay with it next time we go. Macy went along and did her own, getting the cleaning finished before we left the x-ray room.
The past few days have been beautiful outside. We planned to go out yesterday to enjoy some sunshine, but it was too windy by the time everyone finished their naps. I decided today that we would go for a quick walk before naps just in case. Here's the pose out front before the trek. I tried to take the dogs, but Jordan would not listen to me when we got out of the garage, so I put them back inside. The poor animals are so neglected that I thought they would enjoy this, but something is not right with Grady's mutt. I don't think that she likes me anymore. Must be the terrible experience she had the last time I took her out of the house alone. (It was to the kennel, and that is when she escaped and was gone for a long time and was found very far away by some stranger that took her back.) So, it was just the kiddies and I, but we had fun.
Not much else is happening here. Grady has not seen the kids much, been too busy at work. His phone rang at 4:40 this morning and woke up the girls. He had to leave, so hopefully he will be able to come home semi-early tonight to get some rest. Have a great hump day!

Looks like you guys are having fun in the sun! Love the goggles! What's up with someone calling at 4:30 in the morning? Someone called for Jake this morning at 6:45am. I figured it was some church crisis or something...No, some guy just wanted to know how much he should pay for what he bought at the vocational auction. A month ago. Nice, huh?
What a beautiful day for you guys! I'm so jealous. We're still in the minus temperatures here!! You come up with the neatest things for your kids--the goggles are really cool! Hugs to everyone!
