Sleeping in the Snowy Skies with Santa & His Reindeer

When Nana was here visiting last week, she brought some flannel sheets from her house for Macy and Stuart to put on their beds. I put them in the closet to "clean" the house, and almost forgot about them. Yesterday I remembered that we had them, so I changed Stuart's bed while he was in the bath. (He hasn't been wanting to get in the tub, something about being made of sugar or snow, or something :0) Anyway, I had the bed made and ready for him to look at when he was finished. I went into his room and told him to stay out until I was ready. I went in and had the flash charged to capture his first look. Here it is. I wish that I could have been the wall to get the full shot, but this will bring back the memories.

Macy's bed was too big for the sheet set, so we just changed her pillow cases out. She was pretty excited for that much. I think that they like the part of having Santa and his reindeer under their heads. This picture doesn't do much for the moment, but the other was really showing off some panties, and I didn't want that publicized. I need to figure out how to crop the smile and add it to this photo.

These two were so excited to go to bed that I told Grady I should just go buy some fun sheet sets and change their bedding every week. Especially if we can continue the nap sack routine for naps, and the pillowcases for bed, we wouldn't know what to do with ourselved having so much extra time not getting one last drink, itching a back, or fixing the covers. Ohhhh, to dream about it!

SO, if we have this tackled, does anyone have any suggestions on getting dinner down without all of the whining and bribery? Have a wonderful Thursday everyone. We'll be enjoying the sunshine.

Those are so cute! How fun! There was a woman in our ward in Provo who made holiday pillowcases for her kids each year - Halloween (then they used it for their candy sack), Christmas, birthdays...just got some cheap fabric from WalMart, folded it in half and sewed up 2 sides, basically. Maybe you could put a new pillowcase in the napsacks periodically or something....I may have to think about that:)
