End Tables, Christmas Tree & Train, Gingerbread House

We traveled back home Friday to pick up our Christmas decorations and visit. We managed to make it back on time to attend the annual Ten Sleep School dinner and auction. The kids had a blast running up and down the stairs with their friends and tossing around balloons that daddy brought. And, yes, momma got some new end tables. We had to pick a finish for them, so they did not get to come home with us, but will either be delivered (come visit us, Zent family), or we will pick them up next time we are there. I'm pretty excited for them as I have been using an apple crate for an end table since we've been married.

We made it home Saturday evening and purchased a tree. We spend Sunday decorating it and playing with the train. Nana and Popi gave the kids a train for Christmas, but decided to give it early so that they could enjoy it with the tree this year. It is the neatest train! They want to play with it all of the time. Even Fiona loves it.

I'm a pretty good tree picker, ehh?

Dance, Baby, Dance!

Grady was home sick from work today. They've all gotten that terrible cough, yucky nose, and sore throat deal AGAIN. I took advantage of it and ran to Costco, Ben Franklin, and Albertson's. I brought home a Gingerbread House kit, and we made it this afternoon. Here are some pictures of Macy & Stuart showing off their cookies that came with it to eat.

Nice wad of gum, Miss Macy!
Can I eat it now?

And here is the finished product. We are quite the builders! We had to repair one wall that fell over and was causing the roof to slide, but managed to get it to say together. Daddy even helped with the decorating and the pictures.

We sure enjoyed having daddy home today. I better go get the dinner ready. My brother, Timmy & Jen are coming over for dinner. I made chicken enchiladas, a fresh salad, and Gingerbread for dessert (I don't think it will stay standing for much longer!)

I hope that the comment section will work now, I do not know how it came to be where it was. I never received any comments to accept or deny, so I hope that no one has a sour taste thinking that I did not allow them. Just keep 'em comin'. Good night!
