Here's a picture of Macy wearing her "new" dance outfit. She has had it on and off so much today, and this is what she ended up in when the camera came out. She is doing one of the moves she learned called the shimmy. KJ, I hope that this is all you were expecting. No great costumes yet, they will come though. Orders have to be paid for by the 20th.
Here is the sign that I made for Steve as a "belated Boss' Day" gift. I used my new CRICUT cartridge. Mine is not as professional looking as Sandy's but I tried. And, Stuart assured me that Poppy would love it.
Macy and Stuart picked out some wooden shapes to paint while we were at Michaels today. They were shocked that I was actually going to let them paint. Here they are working on the first layer. They took a nap while this dried and then came back for more.
Ta-Da! Here are the finished projects. They loved this. We had to share them with everyone before they end in pieces. Stuart thinks that his airplane should really fly.
Grady is still working, so we have had pizza and corn dogs for dinner. Something easy and fast. Have a great weekend everyone!

Pizza & corn dogs...that sounds like something I would be fixing lately when Jake is gone...anyway - the sign is REALLY cute - I'm going to have to get that font cartridge. LOVE IT! I like the costume, too, and the painted wood pieces! KJ is asleep, but I'll definately show her Macy the dancer tomorrow! We didnt get to vote either - I was too sick to want to go out (okay, I feel guilty - I should have gone anyway, but I was feverish and beligerent) and Jake totally forgot. We were not model citizens or good examples and we feel terrible. I think I might send for absentee ballots next time just to make sure. Shame on us all.
