Another Rainy Day

Well, we have officially become Montana residents. At least that is what the suburban says. I just put the new plates on Big White (we haven't exactly named this one, but the last one was Big Red, hence....) They're pretty cheap plates, just flat with everything "painted" on. I liked the Wyoming ones with the raised numbers. We tried and tried to come up with something special to have on these plates, but could not agree on anything. Now I have to try to memorize some long number with letters. I really, really liked the short four numbers from home too. Let me state that one again....I REALLY, REALLY liked the simple ones. We drove the one-way maze of downtown Billings today for the plates. It would not be that hard if I could concentrate on it, but having 2 and 4 year olds telling you to slow down or you're going to get a speeding ticket, do you know where you're going mom, where are we, are we still in Billings?, etc. is nerve racking. I swore the last time we did that trip to get the temporary plates, I would not do it again and Grady would have to........BUT..........he left the check for me, so we went on another downtown adventure. This time, however, I was a little more familiar with where it was that I was going, so it was a little better trip. I hate missing the one way turn and then having to go two more blocks just to get turned around and back to it. We passes the Moss Mansion coming back home, and Stuart asked if we could buy that big house when ours sells. I would like something big like that, but told him it was not for sale.

After that trip, we headed back west to pick up a used ballet costume for Macy. Everyone in that dance class has one, and you may have noticed in the pictures from yesterday, that she took off her pants and wore a shirt with tights. Not very lady-like in my book, so I felt the urge to get something for dance class. She is napping in it right now. She even said Thank You to me for them when we got home. It was worth the smile on her face. She wants to go again tonight just to show her teacher her new outfit. Explaining to her once a week is hard to understand for her.

We need to find something for Stuart. He really misses preschool. I think that I should schedule a date for just the boys. Having he and daddy time would be a good thing for him. I really don't think that he is ready for anything like karate. He is just too shy to try it now. I truely think that he would get out and dance with Macy, but between daddy and the school, I don't see that one happening. He's her little sidekick. We'll try doing some fun songs and dance this afternoon, just to get Macy a little better on practicing and to get Stu feeling a little more involved.

We have nothing else interesting going on. We are headed to pictures Saturday and then to the new Santa Clause movie after a Chuck E Cheese lunch. Well, that is Grady's big plan. Fiona & I may roam the mall while they're at the movie. I don't think she'll enjoy it as much. Have a great afternoon where ever you are.
