Happy Halloween Everyone

Well, here it is...Halloween already. We have had Stuart and Macy's costumes planned for quite some time now. Stuart wants to be a dragon and Macy wants to be a Mermaid. She wanted Fiona to be a Crayon. I had a terrible time finding a costume, so I opted for Fiona to restrain this year. However, Stuart decided to share his PB&J sandwich with Fiona, so I had to change her clothes. I put a one-piece on her that used to be Stu's and "presto" I had the idea. I took some construction paper and made a cap (crayon top) and the bands for her legs (bottom of crayon). I used the wonderful Cricut machine to cut out the letters for her center and glued them to a black oval. I managed to get her to keep them on long enough for Grady to get some pictures. Unfortunately, I cannot get them posted with this, so I will try again later or tomorrow. We only made it up one side of the block and back home before the mermaid had a frozen tail. They came out with tons of candy anyway. Not much for trick-or-treaters here, so we were given handfulls of candy at each place. Just enough for us. Hope everyone had a great time tonight.
