Hello from SUNSHINE!

Yes, you read that right. All of the pretty white stuff melted off today and we had a great day to enjoy the sunshine. We opened doors and windows and let that fresh air in!
Grady and Dan made it to Chicago, but were still in the process of finding the right hotel last time I spoke with them!
The kids and I enjoyed some BBQ chicken for dinner and we made a group effort in cleaning up each other's rooms! It was a great night for us. We read for 40 mintues (gotta catch up for some of our MANY days of slacking lately if we want pizza).
I managed to get the trim up around the kitchen bar, so be watching the "home" blog for new pictures tomorrow. I posted a few tonight of the boys' room and the main bath. I just love how it turned out.
Grady's grandma had surgery yesterday for a knee replacement (??) This was her first surgery in her entire life, so she's been a bit surprised with how things are going, so please join us in praying for a quick recovery and that she can get back up at it soon. The kids spent their last 10 minutes prior to bed making cards to mail out tomorrow.
It was a HEART SMILE day for me. I hope you all enjoyed some of that too!
