Bath Time Fun!

Nana & Popi gave each of the kids a fun towel for Christmas. We have used them quite a bit and these past few times they have enjoyed tons of play with those towels after the tub time was over. Daddy gave the boys a bath before he left for Cub Scouts tonight, and then I gave the girls one. They all "dressed" back up with them after we put on the pjs and brushed hair. They are playing in Fiona's small tent up in the living room calling each other super heros. How they get that out of two fairy princesses, one butterfly (Nana thought it was a dragon...so we call him the flutterbee), and the fire chief (he IS a hero) is beyond me, but they are having fun together...so that is all that matters!
Macy is back in school and having to readjust to it. We've had several struggles after school...one ending in a late afternoon nap with no dinner and then a very VERY late night while Daddy was working in Wyoming. She slept in until 7 today, so hopefully she's a quick learner.
Fiona is doing a great job of sleeping at night in panties (this is me knocking on wood!) and not getting up at all. She's usually one of the first ones out of bed in the morning but has been so happy when she wakes up it is wonderful! She helped me today at the post office (Deana and Sandy you now have packages to expect!) and then with the Costco shopping. She even remembered what we bought and told her daddy tonight at dinner!

Stuart jumped back into school with tons of excitement. He gets this dreamy look in his face when we drop big sister off, so I know that next year will be a blast for them. He made several wood working projects at school today. One piece he sawed in half (he said it took a lot of his energy to do that) and then he used a hammer, nails and some wood to make an AIRPLANE with wheels! He was so excited to show them to me today when I picked him up.

Myles is battling another bug. He started last Friday with the pukies and has had off and on again gucky diapers since. I hope that we can get him well enough for long enough that we can take him in for a well baby. He's not had one since his staph episode.
Grady continues to work like crazy with some very long days (a few nights too) and I have been trekking along behind him with keeping up on things here. The dogs are still taking their trips to who knows where and I keep hoping that they don't return....I've even told them to stay gone if they jump that fence, but they keep coming back to this house of chaos! Other than that, not much else going on here.
Our weather is amazing. We have enjoyed two beautiful days of warmth....think 50s! (YES, DEANA AND MONICA....BE JEALOUS!) and now we have a street full of slush to freeze and mix with snow tonight. I'm not looking forward to taking Macy to school tomorrow. Hopefully the weatherman will be off and it will stay warm enough to keep it from freezing for one more day!
I better go get these babies some popcorn and a story or two before bed. Good night!

We got Natalie and Madison the same fun towels for Christmas from the Rose Cottage here in town. Nattie got the ladybug and Madison got the butterfly. They are great. We also got cute matching raincoats. We were in the 50s here yesterday, too and woke up to snow this morning! Have a good weekend and hope Myles feels better.

BUMMER that you have yet another sickie - those kids will have immune systems of steel in a few years - goodness knows they've had about every illness known to man in the past year!

Ashli....I am jealous of your weather! We are climbing out of our hole though. We are at least above zero this morning! YEAH

I love the bath towels! They are so cute! I can't believe how big the kids have gotten just since they were here this summer. I can really tell it in Myles and Fiona. Hope the kids have a good week at school and think of us as you enjoy that warm weather!
