Trombleys do Montana State Fair!

Since Grady hadn't gotten called out to work this morning, he took the older kids out to the camper to get the hitch set for the new car. This one is higher than the suburban, so he had to make some adjustments. He had a few questions, so he came back to the house and picked up Myles and I. We went out to the retailer that we bought the camper from and then headed to the Metra to visit the fair. Well, the carnival to be exact. The kids were so excited for it. This is the first one that we have ever visited....AND I forgot my camera. So, here are the generic pictures of the rides they hit.

The first was the Cobra Coaster. It was a small roller coaster that Grady and the older three hit. Fiona wasn't sure about it by the looks on her face, but loved it afterwards.
They rode these Dizzy Dragons twice. Grady must have done all of the work spinning the suckers, but it was enjoyed.
The kids went through a few of these "house" deals and wanted to do more.

The one that shocked me the most was this Pharoah's Fury ride. Grady, Macy & Stu went on it. I don't even know if I would have done it if given the chance. Back in my high school days...yes, but now...I'm not so sure.

It was way too hot, so we came home. The kids fell asleep in the car, so we drove a bit. We have to get the car to 500 miles before we can tow the camper, and we are looking at doing that next weekend. We came home and Grady is now working. Hopefully not for long. I think that we will go back tonight if he is up to it. We found this sandbox that was filled with dry corn and wheat. It was a blast. Myles and I even climbed in for some fun. Darn, I wish I would have taken the camera. Well, I better go cook dinner. Have a great weekend.

Montana Fair definitely beats Washakie County! We had to tour every animal barn at least 3 times before Natalie would let us leave. Anyway, I'm headed up to Billings Wednesday and Thursday, so will you be around during the day for a visit? Kyle left this morning for another week, and Jill wants to keep Natalie for the night, so I'll actually be by myself. I'll call and see if you're home. See you soon.

Okay, I'm reading this going...she did NOT post about any new car! Then I scrolled down and found it -somehow I'd missed that post!! I'm sure you're loving it -- I'm totally jealous! The fair looks like a lot of fun, too!
