We're Back!!!

We made a very quick planned trip to Worland on Thursday. I had a gal that needed a storage unit, we didn't have any open, my parents were having a garage sale, and I happed to have a unit full of stuff to get rid of. Perfect timing. I dropped the kids off at Nana & Popi's house to play with Megan and Elijah. They spent the entire time in the swimming pools and had a blast. Thanks Meg! I owe you some time now, so when you return in October, bring Eli up. I cleaned out my unit and one other with the help of my brother, Thanks Timmy, and my parents...
Thank you!
Friday the older kids went with Nana and I priced out my "goodies". I was going to take them to Ten Sleep to visit our friends, but they were asleep when they returned and we still had to move some furniture for the sale. Sandy, I really want to make it over to see you and your new home. I hope that your sale was a success! I think about you everytime we are down there.
Saturday we had the sale and I made more money off of it than the one I had here at home. It helped that I had some furniture. After we cleaned it up, I had a little panic attack and packed up to head home. I have invoicing to do and need to clean the house and pack us up for the BIG trip that's coming too soon.....very, very early Saturday morning...we'll be up before the sunshine. Here are some pictures of some good things:
I found this old doll crib in a repo and brought it home for Fiona. She loves it and I have plans for bedding that I will share when I find time to make it:
I made a rug for Sheila's birthday on Wednesday night, and Grady made this rag rug for the boys' room while we were gone. Camo for the Stu-Man. Turned out great and it is huge!
I was given this quiltlet by my old neighbor in Worland. She forgot to put it out to sale and brought it to me as we were picking up. It has a place to hang it on the wall, so I think that's where it will go when I get to the store to pick up a dowel. Fits my decor perfectly! Thanks Cheryl!
I wish that I would have taken the camera for our fun in Worland. When I picked up the kids on Thursday, Macy was the only one still in a swimming suit. Myles was alseep, and the other four were running around in the buck. Another bonus of country life! We ate dinner with Popi, Mikell, Jamie and Meg and the boys, and Grandma. We went to the ice cream social and met my cousin's little boy. He and Stu had a great time together. He's three and lives in Hawaii. Stu bought a cake for Sheila's birthday, but we managed to be too busy to cut into it. Hope she liked it. Stu went down to the park with Grandpa to fly a kite. We had a great visit with everyone and enjoyed our three days with you all.
We'll try to keep you posted on the Alaska trip if I don't find time to post anything else before Saturday morning. Otherwise, I'll update when were return in August.

I forgot to mention that we came home with some very cute decor for the girls' bathroom. I can't wait to get it painted, but I have to prime and paint the trim first. It'll make things easier down the road. I'll post when I get a chance, but it will be another month or so before I get to do that one.

Wow, what a whirl wind for you guys! I love the camo rug!! I can't wait to see the bedding for the doll crib and what you do to the girls' bathroom! Good luck on getting all that invoicing done. It doesn't sound like much fun but I know it's necessary! Saturday will be here before we know it!

I'm glad you had a better garage sale than us...we made like $67, heehaw! We missed you guys...we'll get ya next time! Your rugs are just awesome!

I have a blog I keep meaning to share with you - that little crib you bought reminded me of it, since this girl is always buying little things like that and painting them, etc. Her craftiness reminds of you - I need to look at her blog more for ideas! I knew this girls' husband a long time ago when we were kids and knew her sort-of in college back in CA, so its not a TOTALLY random blog - but thought you'd enjoy her ideas!
