We headed south to Wyoming late Friday afternoon. Grady tried to get home earlier, but when there are problems in Paradise, we have change the plans slightly. We got to Worland just on time to get the kids into the hot tub at Grandma & Grandpa's house and then laid them down for bed. Uncle Kaden was so generous that he gave up his bedroom for the kids to sleep in it while he took over a couch. THANK YOU UNCLE KADEN!
After lunch we headed out to the fairgrounds for the Easter Egg Drop. Macy took a moment to pose with the Easter Bunny. They were pretty sure that this was their Popi dressed up as the bunny since he was going to be the one tossing eggs from the helicopter, they were a bit shocked to see him in his normal clothing a few minutes later.
Here's the best shot of the egg drop that I got. I could not get the camera to snap a picture while they were in mid air. I tried on the second drop, but some man shoooooshed me out of the way and under a tree, saying something about the wind blast.....HELLO, it's MY father-in-law in that helicopter...DUH?? I know about all that stuff. Anyway, there's no pictures to share from the "under a tree" perfect photo spot.
I ran into my cousins that had baby girls right after Myles was born. This was the first time that I met those two girlies. They were both so adorable. That made me just want to have a family reunion. I may have to take on the planning for sometime next year. I think that it would be too much for me right now.
We had Easter dinner at my parent's house on Saturday since they both had to work yesterday. I got sick that afternoon, and ended up eating my dinner as lunch on Easter Sunday. Macy also got sick on Saturday. This darn bug lingers and lingers with us. Grady is the only one to skip out so far, but we've been on the "every-other-day" schedule, so his is coming tonight. I HOPE NOT!
Sunday morning the kids got their bags from the Easter Bunny and then went on a collection at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Kaden had this set up for them on Saturday afternoon, but with the sickies, we had to delay it a day. They loved it. Stuart snuck up there and ate a piece of candy, so he was sad and saying that he did not deserve to collect anymore, but ended up being talked into it.
Here's a picture of my nephew, Damion. He has Macy's rose hair clip in the back of his hair. It was so funny watching him running around. He'd grab his ears trying to get it out. He's a little flirt!
We headed to Ten Sleep to attend church. I've been wanting to go back for a visit, and even though it was a quick one, we enjoyed seeing our "first" church family. It sure has changed tons since we left though. They need a larger church fast. :)
We were missing one set of cousins. They were going to come up, but my sister was put into the hospital with some pregnancy complications. We are all praying for her. She was able to go home this weekend and is on bed rest, so Nathan's mom is down there for a week of Elisa care. I hope that they had a good Easter (besides that delay). We sure missed them this year.
After church, we had an egg hunt at Nana & Popi's house. Here are a few pictures of that:
I love the look on Fiona's face in this one.
We had Easter dinner at the Pearce house. It was yummy. The kids ran everywhere and were having a great time seeing everyone that we used to visit on a weekly basis. We miss our Family Home Evenings on Sunday with everyone TONS. Here's Fiona and Gage (Grady's cousin's baby boy) playing the piano. They had a great time making music together.
And Mr. Myles. He had the sickies like Momma did on Saturday. We changed his Easter outfit too many times yesterday. I took this picture to show you what Lisa did as an Easter decoration. She planted grass in several of these trays that they made. Then she just added some plastic eggs. I LOVED them. I think that I will have to "steal" that idea for next year. I know that they would be egg-dorable on our mantel.

Looks like you guys had a great weekend with LOTS OF EGGS!! It was nice to see you at church - I can't believe how BIG the kids are getting! Even Jake commented on how old Macy looks with her hair cut, and that all the kids seem to have grown a foot since we saw them last! We need to plan a "reunion", too, so our little girlies don't get so chatty at church, haha!
Great pics!
Wow, what a wonderful weekend despite the sickness! We sure hope you are kick the bug and keep it gone! We're praying for your sister's situation as well. Keep us posted please. No baby our way yet . . . darn it . . . maybe tomorrow!
Umm...I stayed at Trombleys during my Spring Break, and I was expecting to see you when I saw Grady on Saturday.
