Quick Update

We're watching Superbowl right now, but I HAD to post to inform you all that we had a great time at Church today. We started up the day with a Confirmation for a new member, and then a Blessing for a new baby! Potty and drinks came before and after Sacrament and there were no leaving the Chapel rules in place. There were also no books, treats, toys or drawing/coloring either. How nice that was!!!!! Primary had some conflicts with the other Ward, so we moved our sharing/singing time to the end and classes first. Macy attended her class for the first time today and loved it despite being the only girl. Stuart did well in Sunbeams and Fiona was great in nursery. I haven't gotten my release yet, but did get a book today and do have a new gal called for my class. I have offered to stay and help her as long as she needs it. We only have 5 kids in class now...compared to the 12 we had last year. It was a nice and peaceful day today. I even had Myles with me since Grady was helping with another primary class. I've felt the spirit prompt me today and I really needed that. One of the counselors in Primary and I had a great chat today after the meeting, and we got alot taken care of. And our superbowl champs are ...... only 28 seconds left, but it will be drug out as long as possible. Have a great night!

YES!! I'm SO glad to hear that things went better!!!! I tried bringing less to church with me, too, yesterday (I wasn't brave enough to move to the front, though - I'm afraid the kids will think they have easier access to their dad!) - just some Friend magazines and a pen each for the girls and a small coloring book and a couple plastic animals for Josh. The girls did great with just that (especially Heather, surprisingly) - although Josh kept asking for "more games". I guess I've gotten him into a bad habit! But nobody had to leave Sacrament Mtg. and no snacks or major mess today...so it was better. I figured that the lady who wrote that article survived church with like 87 kids (or however many it was), so I should listen to what she had to say:) I was thinking about you all day yesterday and just hoping that things would go better!!
