I've been wanting to change this blog template ever since Myles was born. Pink just seemed tooooooo girlish for all of the boys in this family......SO......here it is. I really wanted a way cuter one, but haven't found out how to do it, so here is the change for now. I hope you all like it.
The wind has been blowing something terrible here. We have been hunting for new winter wear for Miss Macy. Her class is having some snow days this week, and we have no outdoor gear for her. Lucky for us it is on sale now, but we were at three stores yesterday and were only able to come home with snowpants and gloves. I have to go find a coat before Thursday. Wish me luck!
I've also been thinking about creating a challenge for all of my readers....both bloggers and non. So, if you are up for it, let me know. I want to make a contest out of it, with the prize being........I'll find one later. Just post a comment if you are up for it. The only hint I will give you is that it will start February 1st and run the entire month, AKA.... it will require daily WORK (yes, Sandy, you will have to have internet access daily too)! And, maybe a little prep work for some (meaning it will have to begin BEFORE February 1st...but only an hour MAX!) LET ME KNOW, I THINK IT WILL BE VERY FUN FOR US ALL!!!! Deana and Becky....you NEED to accept this one! PLEASE...for me!! :-P

Oooooh...a challenge:) My interest is piqued:) Hopefully when our internet gets moved, it'll only be down for a few hours...?? I like the new blog look, btw! I almost thought I'd gone to the wrong page when I checked today:)
As for coats - did you try Costco? We got Heather a really good one for around $25-30 the last time we were up there. It has zip-out lining, zip-off vest, etc. We've been happy with it and wished they had one size smaller so we could get Josh one, too. He had to wear his sister's old purple coat to playgroup today (I did put a red sweatshirt over the top so he didn't look totally girly).
Okay, I'll try this post again. Sandy - does that mean that you're in? I will give a little if your internet is gone for a while. :-D And, on the coats...watch eBay. I found some killer deals on the entire coat/snowpants outfit, but we just need ours right NOW. You may find something for next year, or a large enough one that he can use it this year and next.
Okay, for you Ashli, I will accept the challenge. I'll do my best; however, we will be in Vegas the
14th thru 18th and will not have a computer so let me know if that will screw it up. I might be able to get on one at the hotel or maybe even take this "work" laptop with me (only for funthough--absolutely no work--ha/ha!). Let me know how "in depth" it is. I'm not real creative and will need VERY detailed instructions! I wish I would have read the blog earlier because there are so many good sales on winter stuff here and I could have sent Macy one FedEX. NEVER hesitate to ask if you ever need anything we'd have an abudance of here!! Talk to you soon! Oh yeah, I love "your new look" on the blog!!
