Sunday Fun

Between Church and our evening meeting, we hurried home for a quick dinner and then headed back to the Church for some open space to fly Macy & Stuart's new kites. We bought them several weeks ago at Costco, andy they have been itching to get out with 'em. I was using both the camcorder and the camera, so Macy took over the camera for some shots. Here is my favorite of hers. She was a bit low for Daddy's head, but I loved the moment she captured here.

Here is a semi-close up of Stuart's kite. The Biwing. He loved seeing it up so far, and boy did this kite want to fly.

Here's Macy's butterfly. It wanted to act more like a butterfly than a kite, so it didn't soar for long. Maybe the winds weren't right for it, but with the days we have here, I'm sure we will see more kite flying in the near future (especially since we have a turtle and fish to fly too!)
