Change of Plans

Well, this night took a surprising turn around for me. Our Ward had a Relief Society Dinner tonight, and I had planned on staying home since Grady is in Colstrip for the night. I had ordered pizza for dinner and the kids and I were doing a yoga video when the phone rang. It was my friend Teri, and she asked if I was going. I told her Grady was working, so I was staying in. She called me back two minutes later and told me that her husband would take the mid and late flights at work tonight (instead of the early and mid) and to bring my kids over. WHAT A MAN. He took on six kids (ages 5, 4, 3, 3, 1, and 11 mos) alone. I owe them an evening of babysitting so they can go have dinner! We loaded up the pizza and kids and went out.

This year's theme was "To Every Thing There is a Season". The tables were decorated with centerpieces based on the four seasons. We had watermelon decor, Independence Day decor, Easter decor, Christmas decor, and fall decor. They read 8 poems and songs about growing up and comopared them to the seasons of our lives. It was a wonderful evening for us ladies.

After I returned home, Grady emailed me pictures of the Bed and Breakfast that they are staying in. All motels were full tonight, so they found this place. I thought that I'd share his photos with you so you can see that he stays in luxury and found someone to cook him breakfast. (I should get better at that for the family).
Well, I'm off to enjoy a few moments of PEACE now. Good night!

Wow - Grady that's quite the digs! Looks like that room came right out of an old Western -- cool:) Ashli - that's awesome that you got to go to Enrichment, sounds like a good one! I got to go to my first kid-free enrichment last week (well, maybe I've gone to one, maybe two since we've lived here without having to take at least 1 kid with me). Sure makes it easier to pay attention:) I totally missed you today, Ashli - its been nice enough weather to go take a walk to the post office and I wanted to come by and pick you guys up!!!!!
