A Bitter Sweet Goodbye

Grady and I purchased tickets to the Nickelback concert this weekend on November 18, 2006. We had been planning on attending, but found out Thrusday night that we had no babysitter for the kids. In my genius head, I thought that I'd try to sell them on eBay. We had a guy that Grady works with that would buy them from us, but I thought that I'd try a 1 day listing to see if we could make a few bucks off of them. When I woke up yesterday morning, no one had even looked at them, so I was a bit worried. But, by the auction's end, we had made almost 4 times the original amount that we paid! I had a rush going through me for most of yesterday afternoon and evening. I could not believe that someone would pay that much for a concert ticket. It definately helped put a smile where some bummed faces used to be. I'm off to fly this morning.....have a great weekend!
