Out of the Mouth of Stu

We traveled home for a quick trip this weekend. Grady's company Holiday party was Saturday night, so we went down that morning and stayed the night. Start was invited to go with Popi and Dr. Steve Tharp to pick up a load of cows from Bonanza and bring them back to Worland. He didn't want to go at first, but finished his lunch and decided to go. I was shocked! He hopped in the truck with them, and we didn't see him again until Sunday morning. They left, and then we were gone before he was back. I am so happy that he did that.

He was telling us about his trip on Sunday morning. Here is the quote: "There was a sick cow with some yucky on his belly. (Rubbing a circle on his own belly). He was jus layin there restin' and then Tharp gave him some medamen (medicine). He'll be better in a few days". I loved the fact that Stu called Dr. Steve (as we always say), Tharp. Just like he was good ole pals with him. He also told us that he tried to help get the cows in the trailer with the "poken stick" but it was too cold. I think that he had a great time.

Later, he was able to get into the hot tub with Grandpa, Uncle Kaden, and Macy. He told me that he was "gettin big 'cause he could touch the bottom", and that he wanted to be three so he could go in the big potty. (It's a rule before you get into the hot tub). My baby boy is growing up.

This morning Blue's Clues was on, and Stuart sat on a bag of clothes we brough in. He said, "Mom, I'm sittin in my thinkin chair. Do you know what I'm thinkin bout? What Blue wants to do with the scriptures." Where he put the two of those together is beyond me, but I had to laugh and share it with everyone.

We rented the Ten Sleep house out this weekend. It's kind of nice to have someone else paying the bills for a while. I hope that we picked a good renter. Other than that, not much else happening here. Have a Magnificent Monday!

Stuart cracks me up - he's such a little man. I'm glad he had fun doing his "big boy" stuff -- hope you got some pictures -- this would make a FANTASTIC scrapbook page:)
