We started out the day by making some Thankful Turkeys. Macy decorated hers with her favorite red pen before we could write what she was thankful for, but we managed to squeeze them in on each feather.
Fiona took it upon herself to be entertained with books. Maybe she will be our reader in training. She loved feeling the monsters in the book.
Stuart has a habit of watching Dora every morning, so we had to get a picture of him adoring his spanish girlfriend.

After it was over, we packed a picnic and headed over to the park for some fun since it was soooo warm out. You couldn't tell from these pictures without blue skies. The wind was blowing, but it is a nice 73 degrees out.

The tall slide is by far the favorite of my kids. I managed to get these pictures on the first shot. I AM getting the hang of photographing these busy babies. They met some "friends" today and spent the entire time playing in the sand and following each other around the park. Macy was so cute about it, she would ask someone their name, and then stick out her hand for a shake and say "It's nice to meet you, my name is Macy"! It wasn't fun when nap time came around and we had to head home, but Stuart was definately ready for a nap..he's out already and didn't put up a fight about going down either.

Hopefully we can get out with the bikes this afternoon. We had quite the drive home. It was our first attempt during lunch hour rush. WOW. Grand Avenue is not the place to be. There were cars turning everywhere, I'm surprised that we didn't see an accident. We'll have to remember that one and avoid it next time we're out and about. That's all the exictement here for now. Have a great afternoon!
