Well, we went from only momma being sick to the entire line of kids getting it too. I woke up yesterday feeling terrible from the chest up. I got up with the kids and then took a TheraFlu strip. It knocked me out. I woke up Grady and asked him if he was going to church. He was planning on it until I laid on the couch and was out. I remember him telling me several times to go to my bed, but I just couldn't find the energy to get there. I slept for a few hours, and then had to feed Fiona. That poor girl, there was no way I was going to keep her from getting it. She will not give up a single feeding. Weaning may be an entire new step for me. She fell asleep while eating, so I took her to the crib and then I went to bed. I didn't get back up until noonish. I made myself stay up for the rest of the day because my head felt better as long as I was upright. I wish that I knew where I picked this one up at. Maybe we need to practice staying home a little more, or at least staying away from the high germy places during cold season. I ended up having to give Fiona some tylenol last night. She woke up five times in two hours. After a little drink, she was out for a few more minutes. The medication must have taken the edge off of her sore throat, because she slept for five hours straight! That's a miracle. She has not been sleeping good lately. She and Macy are both coughing today, and Stuart isn't doing much. I'm making sure to give them their vitamins every day, and am trying to feed them high vitamin C & healthy foods. Grady is chugging the Airborne right and left in hopes of keeping well. I hope that he does not come down with it. I could not wish this junk onto anyone. It just zaps all energy from you, so between the kids and this, I have little to no motivation. I understand why the Zent family turned on the TV last week. Not much else sounds good. Just one question for you all: Can you catch a cold by talking to someone on the phone? Just kidding, I feel like Sandy sounded everytime I called her last week. Well, I better get to doing something before I fall asleep again. Have a good Monday everyone.

Yeah, good luck with that babe...I'm still sick a week and a half later. I can function, I just don't want to go anywhere. Hang in there! The "really bad" part only lasts for a few days! Try the cold mister with the kids - it helped mine at night a ton, esp. Josh. I'm blaming the germy ball pit at ChuckECheese...:) Hope you feel better soon, believe me I feel for you!
Hey Deana...If you read this, I can't get email to you. Try sending me something to reply to please. I've tried since Friday. Have a great evening.
are you feeling better??? it seems like mothers have to time to be sick-or the luxury of taking care of themselves when they are.....i am sorry i'm not closer so i could take the kids and let you rest.......
