Grandpa & Grandma showed up with a couple of surprises for the kids. They all got matching Santa hats. Fiona wore hers like it wasn't even there, and then Macy and Stuart got silly with theirs. I was heading out to the mall with Sheila when I had to get this picture. I must have been too close or something. It's blurry if you enlarge it, but was too cute to keep to myself.
They also brought up some curlers for Macy. She thought that they were to play with until I had her sit down with some water and a pick. Presto! We had put curlers in her hair. This is a picture of her adoring them. She didn't quite sleep in them because they were "itchy", and her hair was not completely dry when we unwrapped them, but it would have been a beautiful picture if we could have gotten 'em to stay in longer.
We looked at a house yesterday. Both of us liked it, and are still discussing the pros and cons of purchasing it right now. It's a HUGE one with an unfinished basement for more room if ever needed (maybe with five kids?), not much updating to do, except for changing walls to our likings, maybe replacing the stove and refrigerator, and fencing off one side of the back yard to keep babies in. Not much else. It would be nice, but we'll see what we decide on.
I'm making a sign for a gift tonight. We were invited to dinner with a family from the Ward. They must have known that I was having a tough day today. I'm pretty excited for it. Maybe I'll post an update later.
