Saying Goodbye...Feeding Dogs?

Well, we haven't had much activity lately. We mostly sat around the house and cleaned. Grady has been working long hours. We all enjoyed the tub this morning, taking as long as we wanted, and splashing tons of water out of the tub (well, Macy & Stuart anyway!). We can do that now that we do not have carpet in the bathroom here. That is one benefit of this house, but I'd take the larger bathroom at home anytime. Adjusting to finishing the bath in the LR is a little harder than I'm used to.

The Alaskan hunters came in today with Poppy to say goodbye and catch their flight home. Only one cow to take with them, but I'm sure they are taking some laughs too. George took to the kids and the animals well. I really think he enjoyed them. He even offered to take Simon home, but Stu wouldn't let that one happen. Bummer. Simon would have been so loved up there. We've had some great laughs and hope that they come down again soon. We will miss them. Stuart really looks forward to seeing "The Map" everytime we talk about them coming back.

Grady is heading north for some troubles, so he will be late again. I wish that we could see his smiling face at five sometimes. Hopefully everything will get fixed and run smoothly soon. The poor dogs have been waiting all day for some food. I'm sure that they are far from starving, but they really act like they are about to kill over from lack of food. Simon.....he's a great actor. Maybe that's our ticket to the money...putting him in a movie! I am going to go pick it up after Grady gets home. Last time we went to Walmart, Macy and Stuart climbed on the side of the cart and tipped it over with Fiona inside. Luckly she we buckled in her car seat still. They both ended up with some nice sized bruises, but everyone walked out of there. I had just finished telling Fiona how lazy she was and that if she would sit up she could sit in the cart to see everything. I guess that someone had to "prove" me wrong and show me how safe her laziness really is.

Here's a picture of her sitting up today (just for Grandma Rose). It isn't the greatest picture, as I am TERRIBLE at close ups. Sorry about the quality, but you get the picture. She sure thinks that she is a BIG girl when we can convince her to sit up. Most of the time she arches her back and lays back down. Our little show off #2. We'll have our hands full soon. Or Daddy will have a lot of grey hairs soon.

We are looking forward to Nana's visit tomorrow. We really like having visitors. HINT, HINT! Until later, have a great weekend everyone!

Oh, cute little Fiona. I'm glad they all survived their cart accident! Hopefully we'll be up your way in the next few weeks. If not then, at least before Christmas. I mean, honestly, where else would we shop?:)

I can't believe how big Fiona is getting!!! Just remembering the trips to the store with all you kids...the worst that happened was the funny things you kids said!!! Or Timmy @ the age of 2 pinching a young salesgirl's bottom. Some things never change(haha). Well I sure am glad no one got hurt to badly, those carts can be scarey.
Stuart... I hope you had a dream about Grandma Las Vegas... I had one about you. You came to see me and you and Macy played in the pool day and night!!! I guess I better get to work!! Love you all and miss you!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

Okay, I'll only read a little of that comment to Stuart. We don't need him getting any ideas, MOM. I couldn't handle a son like my brother...I'd be bald!
