Our Thanksgiving

We drove through snow and ice and some of the most scary roads to get to Washington for Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful trip! Pictures are in reverse order, ugggh.

The Friday after Thanksgiving, we celebrated Grady's grandparents 60th Anniversary with a party.
Steve's kids and grandkids. That was a chaotic picture to get taken, if you can't tell.
Josh entertained the kids!
Grady's Aunt Jane, Uncle John, Aunt Suz and Uncle Bruce!
We stayed at Grandma Rose's house for the first half of the trip. Here are the pretty girls!
Great Grandma Rosie was watching the kids play some games on the phone.

We stayed with my baby sister and brother in law one night on the way home. It was fun, but we were beat, so we should have stopped on the way there.

I have tons more pictures, but this blogger is sooo slow on the upload that I am going to leave it at this. Hopefully I'll get some Christmas photos up before the New Year.

It's been a While.....

It's been a busy fall for us. We have had a lot of things going, and have been enjoying life! We traveled to a wonderful B&B and met up with our friends from Alaska.
My bestie, Deana. Thanks for the great weekend!
She and I went on a spur, and each got a tattoo on our foot!
We had fun playing in the lake, even with all of the wind and waves. I got a call while in UT and have been managing Milly G's again! It's been soooo great to have a few hours a week out of the house doing what I love, making coffee!
We went up to Chico Hot Springs for a wedding. It was a great time!
Grady and Kaden BOTH landed some great trophies while hunting this year.
We showed our school spirit for the Homecoming Parade. Here's Fiona waiting for the parade with her preschool class.
Stu's class had a float in the parade!
Macy received a pink gun for her birthday, and she had to show everyone at her party her target.
Our Halloween babes this year.
That's it in a nutshell. I have an early morning, but I had to get some new pictures up.

Awww....Spring!

It is official...I am tired of blogger. Ugghhh...I had a lovely post to go with these pictures, and it is gone. Grrr... So, here is the short version re-typed.
Today I started Week 3 of my workout. I love it! Next week I get to go have a pedi! I had set up rewards for myself before I became so addicted, so now they are just bonuses. I have had tons of support from my friends, and it makes updating fun. Hopefully I can post some before/after pictures some day soon.
Grady spent the past week in Atlanta for training, so yesterday morning we headed to Thermopolis for some fun in the park. I was so happy to be out of the house. Here's a few pictures I wanted to share:
We practiced ball. Stuart starts Tball in June. He loves it!
Grady and Stu on top of the buffalo rock (see below). I LUV this picture!

There is the whole picture!

After lunch, we fed the goldfish our sandwich crusts.

Walking out onto the swinging bridge. I went out until Grady started swinging it...then I was back on solid ground. Such a whimp, I am.
We have more, but they are taking so long to upload, and my babes are home. I hope spring is making memories for all of you too!

Finishing Uppppp.....

In hopes of keeping with a new thought that I have had, I am attempting to *FINISH* projects that I start! (GASP HERE!) I started painting our spindals white last year....yup....remember when we textured the walls and ceiling and painted the trim right along with them? I primed the spindals and was excited for the brightness...but.....never did get around to putting paint on them. Well, Friday I got one coat on!
This came *after* I had started a new project on Thursday. YUP, I am BACKWARDS.... I started pulling the oh-so-lovely-totally-old-ladylike green carpet off of the front porch. I was out there all afternoon with the putty knives scraping away. Friday morning the BRIGHT idea hit me. I need to FINISH these projects! So....while it was to chilly to scrape that morning, I painted. Worked outside that afternoon. Worked outside for a bit on Saturday....AFTER I had started invoicing for storage. Completed invoices Saturday night and scraped a bit more yesterday. Grady came to the rescue with the actual SCRAPER yesterday, so now all I have to do is scrape glue today!
I will finish up the painted on Wednesday when the weather is making a turn to the chilly side. I figure it will be a good time to be indoors.
Now if I could just put some new trim into the budget....this kitchen/entry/dining area would be almost complete. We still need to paint the doors white....when the garage is cleaned and warmer!
In other news, the germies are still lingering. We stared week three, round 2 on Friday night. We were up all night. Well, I crashed at 4 am and left Grady up to tend to Myles. I think the windows will ALL be opened today if we actaully hit that 67 HIGH!
Have a Happy Week All!
